How to Eat Persimmons:

*Fuyu persimmons are to be eaten/enjoyed hard and crisp like an apple.  They can be eaten whole, quartered, cut like apple wedges, or sliced into rounds.  Skin is completely edible; however, can be peeled if not likable to consumer’s taste.  Packed with lots of nutrients, persimmons are an excellent source of vitamin A and vitamin C.  They are also a good source of fiber, potassium, and antioxidants including beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, and lycopene as well as provide many health benefits, which is what we all need during these unprecedented times.
